The Suncrest Towne Centre Project is a site development located in Monongalia County, West Virginia. It lies adjacent to Rt. 705, in the city of Morgantown. The project covers 40 acres site, along with the associated access to and from Rt. 705, and includes clearing, erosion control, excavation of 1,177,345 cubic yards of soil and rock, storm drainage, reinforced earth retaining wall, utility installation, paving, curbing, and seeding.
Drilling and shooting requirements for this project are significant because of the proximity to an active four-lane highway. Historical impacts at this site were mitigated by the owner during the initial phases of the sedimentation plan when numerous Native American burial sites were removed for relocation to another state. When completed, the site will be home to a Shopping Center.
