The Shawnee Parkway project is located on County Route 48, just off I-77 at Ghent, in Raleigh County, West Virginia. Widening, straightening and flattening the grade of the existing roadway are major scopes of work in reconstruction of the 1.26 mile project. Some major areas of work include constructing detours, grading, paving, and installing storm drain, waterline, and sewer line. All work will be completed in and around traffic in a moderate population of residences. When completed, access from Ghent to Odd will be improved.
