Hurricane Market Place is a site development project located off the Hurricane exit of I-64 in Putnam County, West Virginia. The site covered approximately 10 acres with 60,000 cubic yards of excavation. This project includes clearing, erosion control, excavation, building demolition, installing a retaining wall and installing 800 lineal feet of rock core drain and drainage pipe. This project was under strict time constraints, as the job had to be completed in three months. When it was completed, the new site will house a shopping center.
