This project is located in Bridgeport, in Harrison County, West Virginia. The existing Deegan and Hinkle Dams were in need of modifications in order to bring them up to specification with the new West Virginia DEP Dam Safety Specifications. The work items for this project included clearing, construction stake out, dewatering of the lakes, water control, erosion and sediment control, trenching for gas lines, and storm drain piping.
This project was significant because it required the use of roller compacted concrete, and was limited to a very tight schedule of 180 days.
