Corridor H: Bismarck-Foreman Sect 04
This Project is located in Scherr, West Virginia (Grant County). This project is a Corridor H highway construction and consists of 2.9 million cubic yards of excavation and two large bridges to be built by Ahern and Associates, the prime contractor. Kanawha Stone Company is a sub-contractor on this project. Corridor H authorities want to keep a strict handle on erosion and sediment control. Ahern and Associates contracted Kanawha Stone Company to be the controller of the erosion and sediment control portion of the entire project since we have had positive past experiences with the Corridor H erosion and sediment control authorities. This is a unit-price contract with a completion date of September, 2009.
