BLASTING SIGNALS

Pre-blast warning signals are given three (3) minutes prior to blasting.  They consist of three (3) short warning signals of five (5) seconds duration, with five (5) seconds between each signal, audible to a range of one half (1/2) mile from the blast site.  When the blasting activity, which usually last approximately fifteen (15) minutes, is finished an "all clear" signal is given.  It consist of one (1) long sound from the air horn twenty seconds in duration.
